Gregory P. Gillis, Esq., is a partner with the 40-lawyer firm of Sacks Tierney P.A. in Scottsdale, Arizona.  Mr. Gillis serves on the Commercial and Construction Arbitration and Mediation panels of the American Arbitration Association.  Mr. Gillis is included among the AV-Preeminent Peer Review Rated attorneys by Martindale-Hubbell since 2010, Southwest Super Lawyers, Construction Litigation since 2014, and The Best Lawyers in America®, Commercial Litigation and Construction Law since 2012.  Construction, litigation arbitration and mediation.  Mr. Gillis also serves as a Judge Pro Tempore for Maricopa County Superior Court conducting settlement conferences involving all types of civil matters.  Mr. Gillis has over 30 years’ experience as a litigator/arbitrator/mediator in a wide variety of construction disputes.  He is a graduate of the University of Nebraska and the University of Nebraska College of Law (1986).  Mr. Gillis was initiated as a member of Sigma Alpha Epsilon fraternity in 1979.  

Greg has been a long-time loyal brother in the Phoenix area since his graduation from Nebraska. As a distinguished attorney, he assisted in the formation and legal documents for SAE- Phoenix Alumni, Inc.


Ryan Bethell, CAlifornia Alpha ‘08 (Stanford)


Ryan Bethell (California Alpha, Stanford University 2008) is a Founding Partner at the Ideas Law Firm, PLLC, which owns and operates trademarkelite.com.  Ryan holds a degree in Economics from Stanford University, and MBA and Juris Doctor Degrees from the Sandra Day O’Conner College of Law and W. P. Carey School of Business, respectively. 

Ryan has an eclectic work experience, having worked as a brand manager, High-school and college educator, litigation associate, and operations officer. Prior to founding the Ideas Law Firm, Ryan was the Managing Attorney for LegalForce RAPC, a law firm that files thousands of trademarks each year.

Ryan leverages his business and legal experience in advising his clients. He aims to understand the "big picture" of what matters to his clients’ businesses, and work collaboratively to craft profit-maximizing solutions.

 

Frank Caloroso, Arizona Beta ‘20 (Arizona State)


Frank Caloroso graduated from Arizona State University (AZ Beta) in 2020 with a Bachelors degree in Sports Business. He was also an Eminent Chaplain as an undergrad.

He is currently on the Board of Directors for the SAE Phoenix Alumni Association, as well as the current Secretary. Frank resides in Scottsdale, AZ working in the Financial Services industry for an asset manager

mike donahoe, oklahoma kappa ‘62 (Oklahoma)


Mike is a graduate of The University of Oklahoma in 1962 and went on to obtain his JD degree from Georgetown University Law in Washington, District of Columbia. Prior to college, he attended Portsmouth Abbey School in Portsmouth, Rhode Island. He served as a Colonel in the US Air Force and has been involved in the aviation industry as a pilot with 12,000+ hours flight time . He is now involved with Wings of Humanity, a non-profit organization that assists underprivileged children with free medical flights to hospitals anywhere in the US for free.  In 2023 Mike was the second recipient of the Bill Weinke Distinguished Alumni Award.

Dave Hanak, Pennsylvania Chi-Omicron ‘79 (Pitt)


A native of Johnstown, PA; Dave pledged SAE his sophomore year at the University of Pittsburgh (PA Chi Omicron) in the fall of 1976.  While an active, Dave held several positions within the fraternity including Fifth Man, House Manager, Pledge Director and Eminent Archon.  He was also active within the greek system serving as Inter-Fraternity Council (IFC) rep for SAE as well as IFC Treasurer. 

Dave graduated from Pitt with a degree in Biological Science in 1979 and returned to earn his MBA on a part time basis, earning his masters in 1986.  He spent his 42-year career in the healthcare and biotechnology industries, working in the capacity of marketing, sales and business development.   His professional journey took him to six states; coming to Arizona in 2004.  He retired in the fall of 2022.



Dan Hinkson, Missouri Delta ‘78 (Rockhust)
 

Dan Hinkson is the Owner, Founder (1983) and President of Sigma Contracting, Inc. Dan oversees the daily business operation of Sigma, and is involved with various industry groups including Valley Partnership, the Arizona Association for Economic Development, Lambda Alpha International, ULI Arizona, CRENAB and a board member of SAE-Phoenix Alumni Inc. He also is a partner with Global Specialty Services providing disaster recovery services after catastrophic natural events. He is also a partner in Shield Roofing based in Fort Meyers, Florida.

Born in Youngstown, Ohio, and raised in St. Louis, Mo., he received college degrees from Rockhurst University in Kansas City, Mo., and Arizona State University.


Bo Sederstrom, Arizona Gamma, ‘83 (Northern Arizona)


 Bo has served as Director of this SAE Phoenix Inc. since its inception. He brings years of commercial real estate experience with his service on the Investment committee as well. Bo is a 30 year Commercial  Real Estate Professional  and has been involved in transactions ranging from  1,000 square feet  to 200,000 square feet.  Recently Bo was involved in negotiating an approximately 50 million dollar life science lease.  Bo has primarily focused on tenant services.  However, he also represents building owners.  He believes that to properly represent tenant or a Landlord you need to understand what motivates both parties.

 Bo is also very active in his community. He is a past three term President of the City of Phoenix’s Industrial Development Authority, a Past Junior Achievement Board Member.  Currently he is the immediate Past President of Recovery Empowerment Network, is a member or the ASU WP Carey College of Business Alumni Board of Directors and the ASU Presidents Club.  Also, Bo is a trustee of the SAE Foundation.  Bo has and BS in Political Science from NAU and an MBA from ASU.

Todd is another Nebraska Cornhusker who has been instrumental in the Phoenix SAE alumni group. Stan C Strom, Arizona Beta ‘82 (Arizona State)
 

Stan has served on the SAE national staff and held multiple roles in the Fraternity since his initiation 40 years ago. He has been Chapter Advisor, House Corporation President, Phoenix AA President, Province Archon, SAE Foundation Trustee, and ASU Greek Alumni Chairman. He has been a financial services professional and land broker now living in Prescott, AZ and works as the Chief Fundraising Officer at Embry-Riddle University.

He is married to Brenda, a Pi Beta Phi member and Little Sister of Minerva. They were married in the Chapel of the Levere Memorial Temple in 1985.
